What is Call Manager?

period. After the free trial period, you can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting the Customer
Service team.
What is your pricing structure? Can we pay a year in advance?
Call Manager Subscription fees are automatically charged monthly by credit/debit card. Call routing charges
to mobile and international destinations are separate and work on a 'Top-Up' facility, enabling you to
control your costs. To top-up your credit you will need to log on to your service online and specify the
amount of credit that you wish to purchase. Once you submit your request you account will be topped up
immediately. Note: if you choose an 020 service number you will be charged for landline redirection.
What types of payment do you accept? Can you invoice us?
We accept all major credit cards, as well as providing direct debit invoicing.
Is this a long-term commitment?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting the Customer Service team.

Which prefix should I choose as my service number if I want my number to be internationally
accessible?
We recommend choosing a geographic fax number for guaranteed international access e.g. 0203 (London).

To use Call Manager you will simply need a web browser, access to the Internet and a directly dialable
telephone number to receive calls.
Conference Calling
What is a Permanent Number?
With a Permanent Conference Number, the account holder is allocated their own conference telephone number
and PIN that enables them to start a conference instantly from any telephone no matter where they are.
Do I need to book a conference when I have a Permanent Number?
No, you do not need to book a conference. You can start conferences instantly simply by dialling into your
conference number.
How do I start a Permanent Number conference?
To start a conference, the account holder dials their Permanent Conference Number, enters their PIN and a
conference is immediately started. Other participants can then join the conference call by simply dialling
the permanent conference telephone number. Room Numbers and PINs are not required. Once the last person
leaves the conference, the conference is ended.
What about Occasional Conferencing?
With Occasional Conferencing, all conferences must be booked on the website. The account holder is allocated
a conference room and PIN number. To start the conference the account holder dials the main conferencing
number and then enters the room and pin number. Other participants also dial the main number and enter the
room number. Each time you book an occasional conference the room number changes.
How many people can attend a conference?
Up to ten lines / phones can dial into a conference. However, because several people can use the same
'speaker phone' to call into your conference, the number of attendees can exceed the number of lines. If you
do require more than ten lines, please contact our customer support team.
Do I have to set up an account before I can hold a conference call?
Yes. All conference organisers must register for a user name, password and confirm the product and pricing
option they wish to use.
Can I change a conference?
Yes, you can change a conference that you have booked through our web site at any time. You can edit the
start time of a conference or invite additional people. There are also options to cancel the conference or
check which invited persons have accepted your invite.
Can I invite people to conferences?
When booking a conference on our web site you can invite other people simply by entering the email address
of who you want to invite. They will be sent an invitation as soon as you have finished booking the
conference. Each invitation email can also contain a link, where the participant can accept or decline the
conference invitation.
Can I send out reminders for conferences?
When you are booking a conference, you can decide whether or not to send your attendees a reminder of the
conference. You can even choose when the reminder will be sent. Reminders can be sent our as emails or as
SMS text messages.
If I book a conference, do I have to participate?
No. If you have scheduled a conference, you do not have to participate in order for it to go ahead. The
conference will start as soon as the first person calls the conference telephone number, and enters the
correct room number and PIN. In the case of using a Permanent Conference Number, the conference will start
as soon as someone who has your Permanent Conference Number and PIN dials in.
What can I do when I'm in a Conference? What are the In Conference Features?
While in a conference you can mute your phone, lock the conference so others cannot join in, get immediate
help from our support team or find out how many people are on the conference, simply by pressing a number on
your phone key pad.
Are Yac Audio Conferences secure?
Audio conferencing is as secure as any other telephone call. Since you only give the conference number and
PIN to people you are inviting, only they will be able to enter the conference call. While in a conference
you can also prevent others from joining by pressing * 2.
Personal Number
What is Personal Number?
Personal Number is an all-in-one number that integrates your phones calls and voice messages..
Your Personal Number is an 07092 personal number that is associated with you, rather than a particular place
or phone. You can use a Personal Number to direct calls to any phone no matter where you are.
Instead of having to give your contacts your home number, mobile number and work number, you can give them
just one number, your Personal Number!
Please note that 070 personal numbering services are not guaranteed to be accessible when called from
outside the UK - therefore are only suitable if your callers are based in the UK.
Does Personal Number replace my existing numbers?
No, a Personal Number complements your existing numbers. Your mobile phone, and your phone at home, at the
office or elsewhere can be used independently or in conjunction with your Personal Number. Your Personal
Number is best used to manage and control all the calls coming through the one or more numbers that you may
already have.
Do I need a phone to use my Personal Number?
Not necessarily. If you do not have your own phone, you can forward your incoming calls to any phone number
that may be convenient for you.
Alternatively, you can forward your calls to your email inbox. When your caller dials your Personal Number,
they will be asked to leave a message. This message will then be forwarded to your email account as an audio
attachment.
Can I use a Personal Number if I am a non-UK resident?
Yes. Although it's a UK-based service, you'll find it useful even if you are not a UK resident.
If you live in one of over 100 countries (including the United States, Australia, and most of Europe) to
which we forward calls, you can use a Personal Number to receive phone calls, voice messages, and faxes from
your UK-based colleagues, clients and customers - at no cost to you.
Please note 07092 numbers can only be called from within the UK.
What are the different types of Personal Number modes?
The mode of your Account helps you to control how you want to use your Personal Number. The mode will
dictate what options will be offered to your caller when they ring you. They can be offered to speak
directly to you, to leave a message, to send a fax, or a combination of these options. Your choice of
Personal Number mode will affect what greetings your caller will hear. There are three different types of
Personal Number modes.
Where can I forward my calls to?
With your Personal Number, you can forward your calls to almost any phone number in the UK, including
Northern Ireland. You can also forward your calls to phone numbers in more than 100 other countries
