company, as Chief Executive
15th
October 2001 - YAC, the
managed and hosted telecom solutions company, has hired
Graham Cove as Chief Executive.
Cove
joins YAC from Redstone Telecom, which he founded and
as Chief Executive built into an £80M turnover business
over 6 years. Cove started his career working in sales
for Mars Confectionery Ltd and Duracell Batteries before
joining Mercury One2One as Director of Sales in 1990.
After four years at One2One, during which he had sole
responsibility for developing the sales and trade marketing
strategies, he moved to the mobile communications division
of Time Retail Finance, the credit card arm of the Kingfisher
Group, looking to set up and manage a service provision
business. Cove's role at YAC is to grow and strengthen
the business through partnerships and to continue to develop
its innovative communications solutions.
Graham
Cove, speaking on his appointment, said: "The managed
and hosted telecoms solution's that YAC provides are innovative
and of great value to a huge audience - encompassing direct
business users, telecom re-sellers and Telco's who do
not wish to invest themselves in value added platforms.
The industry is young and exciting with huge potential
and YAC has already developed a strong track record -
I am delighted to be building the company into a strong
business with a genuine 'must-have' product set"
Samer
Salty, CEO of zouk ventures, YAC's lead investor, said:
"This is a fantastic appointment for YAC and further
strengthens its management team. Graham's focus on revenue
build-up and extensive experience in developing and growing
innovative young companies within the telecoms sector
makes him best placed to build YAC to its full potential
as a leading provider of inbound call management solutions.
YAC has been growing from strength to strength since its
third round of funding earlier this year and Graham's
appointment is another milestone in its continuing success."
