web based communication, YAC has announced that it is
now offering its innovative development capability to
enterprise clients.
YAC
has added the latest in speech recognition and text-to-speech
technology to its proven carrier class communications
platform, firmly putting it in a leading position to provide
the latest in voice technology to the enterprise.
Voice
requested services such as news updates and sports results
are just the start of the web-based information that is
being made available through simple voice commands. Voice
Portal technology, which YAC now delivers, allows users
to verbally request information and receive web based
content through their telephone - both fixed line and
mobile.
YAC
is strongly positioned to provide market leading voice
based solutions in a marketplace that the Kelsey Group
predicts will have a turnover well in excess of $12 billion
before 2005. The Kelsey Group further predicts that there
will be over 10 million users of voice access services
by 2002.
In addition to the Personal Numbering and Conferencing
services that have already garnered YAC 300,000 customers,
YAC will now be offering enterprise customers Email to
Speech, Voice Portal, Voice enabled M-Commerce and Unified
Messaging Solutions.
