Deal set to boost Yac.com's burgeoning user base

24th May 2000 - Yac.com - the fast growing net-based telecoms company - today announced a partnership deal with interactive investor international ("Investor Investor"), one of the UK's leading online personal financial services. The far-reaching alliance involves complete integration of YAC in the Interactive Investor registration process and links across the Interactive Investor website (www.iii.co.uk). Interactive Investor users will be offered free personal YAC Numbers, which will allow them to redirect calls for free to almost anywhere in the world, as well as receive voice-mail and faxes into their e-mail inbox.

The first phase of the promotion will see all of Interactive Investor's users offered a YAC Number by e-mail, with further editorial explanations of the YAC service on the site and in weekly newsletters. Following this, the offer of a YAC Number will be incorporated into Interactive Investor's registration process. Banners and buttons linking to Yac.com (www.yac.com) will also be placed on high traffic areas of the Interactive Investor site.

Yac.com will be paying a bounty to Interactive Investor for each user who signs up through the promotion, and a second bounty when users' calls reach an agreed level.

Yac.com offers users a free unique personal number (a YAC Number - which can be acquired through the YAC Web-site www.yac.com) through which they can redirect all their live calls, voicemail and faxes. Voicemails can be left when a user is unavailable and then emailed as sound files to the user's inbox. Faxes sent to a YAC Number are forwarded to the user's email inbox as a file attachment.

Up until now the growth of the personal numbering industry has been restricted by two main problems: price and convenience. Yac.com has swept away the pricing issue by making the service free to users. Changing the destination for your incoming phone calls can now be done simply through a choice of Net, phone or WAP-enabled devices.
