  YAC Service combines Fax and Email
 

3rd January, 2002 - YAC, the UK based telecommunications solutions provider, is now offering a free Fax to Email service which enables customers to receive faxes directly to their email address as an attachment. The service will save businesses both time and money and will ensure that important documents are kept confidential.

Customers can sign up for the free fax service on the YAC web site at www.yac.com or through the YAC call centre on 08708 40 80 30 where they will be allocated a YAC fax number. They can then use this number as an ordinary fax number, but the difference is that their faxes will arrive in their email account as an attachment rather than at a stand-alone fax machine. The service is particularly useful for people who travel extensively such as sales staff, engineers, area managers, and international travellers etc. who regularly access their emails but only occasionally visit their office.

It's an easy and confidential way of receiving, storing and forwarding important faxes and will ensure that faxes are not left lying around in full view at the office fax machine, this is ideal for senior executives or people handling sensitive information such as HR, Lawyers etc. A free number per person means that they don't all need their own fax machine which can save significant amounts of capital in a large business.
