All of YAC's features are set up and controlled using your "YAC Account". Once you have signed up for a YAC Number, you can access your YAC Account practically anywhere - using the Internet, a telephone (ordinary and mobile) or a WAP-enabled phone.

How do I use Call Forwarding?
Call Forwarding is the core feature of YAC's service. And it's so simple to use. Using the "Call Forwarding" page in your YAC Account, you can easily determine where and how YAC routes your calls and voice messages.

To use Call Forwarding

  1. Log into your YAC Account.
  2. Choose "Call Forwarding" from the menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Enter the number(s) to which you would like us to forward calls to your YAC Number.
  4. If you enter more than one number, indicate which is your first preference and which is your second preference.
  5. Turn Call Forwarding ON.
  6. Click SUBMIT.

How do I use Call Screening?
With YAC's Call Screening facility you can choose to have calls from up to 10 UK phone numbers routed directly to your YAC's messaging service.

To use Call Screening, enter the phone numbers of the callers you don't want to talk to in the Call Screening page of your YAC Account. Should you receive a call from any of your selected numbers, YAC will take a message and send it to your email inbox.

To Use Call Screening

  1. Log into your YAC Account.
  2. Choose "Call Screening" from the menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Enter the phone numbers you wish to screen out.
  4. Click SUBMIT.

How do I use Message Distribution?
Message Distribution is a way for you to circulate an important announcement, invitation or snippet of news to up to 15 people at the same time, without having to contact them individually.

To use Message Distribution you first have to build a "distribution list". This list should contain the email address of everyone you want to distribute a message to. Then, to contact your list, all you do is call your YAC Number, enter your PIN Number when prompted, and follow the instructions to record and send a message.

To Create a Distribution List

  1. Log into your YAC Account.
  2. Choose "Message Distribution" from the menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Enter a name for your list in the next available slot (you can have up to three lists at a time).
  4. Click "Email Addresses".
  5. Enter the names and addresses of each person that you want to include your list.
  6. Click SUBMIT to return to the main Message Distribution page, then SUBMIT again to confirm the creation of your list(s).

To Send a Message to a Distribution List

  1. Call your YAC Number, press 0 when YAC answers.
  2. Enter your PIN Number when prompted.
  3. Press 3 to enter the Distribution List section of your telephone YAC Account.
  4. To send a message to your first list, press 1.
  5. To send a message to yoru second list, press 2.
  6. To send a message to your third list, press 3.
  7. To record your message, press 1.
  8. To review your message, press 2.
  9. To send your message, press 3.
  10. Press 0 to return to the previous level, or 9 to exit.
